History

Founded in January 2005, ToInovate started on the Portuguese Market as a consultant provider for the major SAP Consultant companies already in place.

Its fast growth and the recognition from the market, mainly due to the excellence and large expertise of its consultants, allowed ToInovate to redirect its strategy to offer its services directly to end customers already in 2006. It was on this same year that the company began its internationalization, with two projects outside Portuguese borders.

ToInovate’s brand became a symbol of dedication, consistency and excellency in results for its customers. It was only natural that, in 2007, ToInovate had already firmly established itself as a reference in the Portuguese market for the consultancy service offer in the SAP space. As a logical move, ToInovate developed strategic partnerships achieving the SAP® Channel Partner status.

In 2008, after the acquisition of Business Objects by SAP®, ToInovate became the first Portuguese consulting firm to achieve both the SAP® Business Objects Partner and the SAP® Service Partner status.

In 2013, and due to our industry specific selling orientation, ToInovate achieved the SAP® VAR status, being now capable of offering a complete end-to-end solution to its customers.

ToInovate in now diversifying its offer even further by partnering with NEPTUNE Software, for the areas of mobility, and with Software AG, for the Business Processes Area (BPA). In the meanwhile, a partnership expansion to countries such as Brazil, Spain and Angola is currently in motion.

2014 is a year to capitalize on the previous acquired knowledge, as well as a year to launch ToInovate as a reference in some specific areas, thus enlarging its offer and becoming more and more present for its customers.

ToInovate’s mission is to be a trusted advisor for its customers, anticipating business needs and how technology can be put to good use. As a way of responding to new market demands, ToInovate has created a Near Shore Development Center (NSDC). Based on its SAP expertise, Toinovate decided to wage in the practice of getting work done and services performed by people in neighboring regions, rather than in the customer’s location. The geographical proximity results in easier and less expensive travel and communication. The wage is also in cultural and language commonalities. This philosophy typically reduces the customer’s costs and allows them to operate more efficiently.

ToInovate currently has a vast consultancy team of 60 outstanding professionals, which develop and implement projects in a large installed base in different business sectors. Our goal, as it always has been, is to provide services that exceed our customer’s expectations and that generate value to their business.
